Radio is not working help!

Today I tried turning my radio on and it didn't work, nothing worked as far as the screen. I tried changing the fuses and that did nothing. Should I take out the battery? If so How do I do that?

no I didn't jump start my car. Do I have to take the amp out and then on the back of it there will be a few fuses? I checked the fuses in the trunk and the fuses in the hood.

honestly it sounds like the entire relay to the stereo is out so a blown fuse or a short in the wiring has occurred. either that or just by pure chance both units decided to crap out. Honestly i think the CD player gets its power form the headunit so if heatunit goes bad then CD player cannot be opened b/c the cable from headunit to cd player includes power and ground wires as well that way benz didn't have to run multiple cables, its all in one.

well perfect time to upgrade of course . thats what i did. Custom Car Audio in houston did my headunit for me and they are one of the best stereo places in town (they to all the athletes cars and etc). I suggest taking your car to a high end audio place b/c they will know how to convert your sound system to aftermarket headunit and etc. i highly recommend.

wait guys does the w140 old headunit have a fuse in the back of the radio, the shop only checked the wiring, and they said the power goes all the way to the radio and cuts off there.

08 Lexus GS350 AWD. 08 Lexus RX350 AWD - wife's. 94 MBZ E320 - still have it.
I am not sure if the head unit has a fuse in the back, or maybe even inside. I would pull it out and tore it apart. It its broken you have nothing to loose anyway. Also, if you want to keep factory stere, check local junkyards or the web for a used one.

Udachi!

If i were u, i would definetly look into going aftermarket for the headunit and amp, u can bypass the factory wiring but still run the BOSE speakers....I've recently got mine done that way, and all I got to say is it kicks major ***....

Da ya iz mockbl, I fixed the problem, there is an fuse in the back of the radio, so a buddy of mine who works at the benz dealership let me borrow the keys so I would be able to take the radio out.

Moscow Is like a Vegas and Manhattan combined, Its absolutly insane. I love it there, every girl is so sexy, all the restaurants have absolutly mind blowing food. The designs inside the city are incredible. There is a reason why its the 3rd most expensive city to live in(followed by Tokyo and some other japenese city)
