Performance Pulley for W140 V8s ?
Hello W140 owners,
I wanted to gauge interest and see how many of the W140 owners would be interesting in light weight harmonic damper pulleys for the earlier M119 V8 engines. If interested I would like to hear your comments to better gauge if there is any interest. Also, low cost options for the 94+ M104 W140s are also a possibility.
Thanks.

I sincerely hope people start thinking and realize; If its to good to be
true, it probably is!

yep been thru' this many times.....
as have many others.
The outcome is always the same - science and math predicts less than 0.4HP, Omey and his aliases / shills claim 15-20HP based on dyno results which as we all know can be manipulated.
Then there's the question of torsional damping or lack thereof on this 'performance pulley' which can lead to either premature crank failure or possibly the pulley working loose which has happened in several cases - despite being correctly torqued down.
To avoid re-hashing old info, here's a good summary and a few links - interestingly AMS has not been able to get this post deleted.

Could get interesting :-)

Just a second to Tim's post. This man knows what he is talking about.
However, if you own a '95 S500C, I recommend that you install one of these immediately. I could always use a source of cheap parts. ;->
