Just got my 1993 300SD
I just pickup up a nice clean 300sd. single owner all original with every single service record. Wish it was a long wheel base. I have already replace the center console wood with the updated single piece unit. The climate control panel goes next. Waiting for parts to show up. I will post pictures soon. I will be adding parktronic, rear shade, and heated front and rear seats.

Was it rebuilt or replaced?
3.5L's (90-91 W126's & 92-95 W140's) had a short production run because of bent rods causing ovaling of cyl's. Usually showed up as high oil consumption followed by loss of compression as it got worse. Many replacement crate motors with updated rods failed too.
