CD Changer questions

I just purchased a 1993 300SE and would like to add a CD changer, however I do not want to pay the dealer $1000 to do so. Does anybody have any suggestions for compatible CD changers or where I can get one of the ourginal (10 disc?) CD changers for this car?
However it is possible to use an Alpine cmh-s630 cd changer and a translator so the cable pre-wired in the car can already connect to the changer.
Now here is info regarding the translator, I am not entirely sure on all of it:
Q-6-82-0135 -- software interface $135;
Q-6-82-0174 -- adapter harness $50;
Q-6-82-0175 -- cable set $98;
Alpine CHMS630 CD Changer
Peripheral adapter MBZALP9 $37
Those would be all the things you need for it. The first 3 are available from parts shop at mercedessop.com. The CD changer can be had from http://www.proactiveelectronics.com/AKCHMS630
and the peripheral adapter from http://www.autosoundgear.com/
Also, if you do a search on google.com (i.e. just type "Alpine CHM S630") you will find it much cheaper than the link in the prior post.
Thanks in advance for your reply to my question!

I found the perfect solution. I bought a CD player for $26 at Wal Mart and used my cassette adapter, and surprisingly it sounds good. problem solved.
I swapped my entire stock system for Alpine (7998 head unit, S634 changer, F450 amp, new speakers all around - 3-way components in front and 12" sub in trunk) and am very happy with it. Much better than stock in my opinion.
Gotta have quality tunes to match a quality car!
Cheers!
