1997 s320
s320 antenna
Just purchased 1997 s320 with telephone option. When car starts antenna goes up whether radio is on or off. What has to be done for antenna to be in down position when car is running?

I hardly use the radio and play mostly CDs. So after I replaced the gear and belt mechanism on my antenna, i installed a wireless cut off switch. That way the antenna only goes up when I need it and prevent unnecessary wear on the components. I used a wireless switch so I dont have to pry every panel to snake a wire to the dashboard. works like a charm and is only $20.
