I suggest you get the Mercedes-Benz catalog from www.performanceproducts.com they have double exhaust for your car, that won't need to cut or modify the valance.
I would post pictures, but with the maximum 1 byte picture size, I can't do it.

i'm pretty sure that is for the V8/V12 W140's only, and also price is a huge factor. THe best way to mod is maximize HP per $ input, and Performance products exhausts are very $$. I can get good Remus universal exhaust for a 1/5th of the price. I want to modify rear valence just b/c its stupid when tip pop out from straight valence.

for apperance wise, the clear corners and avangrade or s600 style grill really makes a huge difference, I put corners and grill on my car and I love it to death, #1 pads are a good choice and have you ever thought of chrome shells udner the door handles? they are cheap and will make a world of difference, your car is about the same color as mine, great color and chrome addons look great on it, keep us posted, I forget who said it, but this is fun to follow

Nice!
One thing though that someone posted something about earlier.. the AMG badge does NOT come on cars that haven't been at the AMG assembly..
No Mercedes is called an AMG from factory if it's only AMG bodykit or rims.

well in houston its common practice, i guess the local dealership does it to customers cars upon request, seen alot of CKL430's and etc with them.
Updated on the car: I am thinking about doing the resonator bypass on the car just to make it sound slightly more aggressive. a friend did it on his C32 AMG and it sounds just like quiet aftermarket exhaust. not to mention the weight savings along makes it worth it. it cost him $30.

good mod, also think about deleting the cat's and putting an o2 simulator in place, thatlll work wonders

well the good thing is i have OBD1 benz so no o2 simulator needed . gotta love those OBD1s (95 M3 also ). cats i probably wont do but I may upgrade to a remus exhaust, universal ones are only like $200-300 which isn't bad at all considering they are pretty good quality exhausts (they manufacture for alot of other companies).

the grill and mirrors would really do wonders for the look, also chrome shells under the door handles is also nice, I just bought some slk/sl pedals and I really enjoy those some it might be worth it to you.

HID question
I have a 96 S420 same color as yours... I have been thinking about HID lights...did you install your lights yet? Are you or did you get the 8000's?
How do they look? Did you do anything special to your lenses?
My color is the same as your interior also, same color tint but I kept the Star on the hood. I just ordered AMG 18" Chrome Monoblock. So we almost look like twins. I am not familiar with S32 what is that?

96' S420
I keep hearing about K&N Filters
One person says that they are awesome and the other says no way that the 96 S420 will do more damage than good. So will it help or not?

96' S420
Used AMG 18" Monochromes
with new tires $2400. Chrome in mint condition. However they came off of a 2001 E320. I may still need the right rims if they don't fit correctly. If the offset is off a little will that make a big difference?
