Trunk is not closing ?

Trunk is not closing ?
Hello:
my car is been sitting in the my garage for the past 2 weeks. So when i went to start it today, the battery was dead. I jumped the battery, and i started the car, and doors closed fine. But the trunk is refusing to close, the soft close is not getting activated.
I tried to gently close it, but its not locking nor is the soft close kicking in.
Any help a.s.a.p would be appreciated?

I think i might have resolved the issue.
I tried taking the soft close, and central lock fuses, but that didnt help.
Then i figured out there is a switch in the inside of the trunk behind the outside closing button to close it manually, i moved it to the side, and the trunk closed with the soft close.

Yeah, i felt such relief, when this worked. Since my trunk wasnt closing at all, and also $$$ started flashing in my head, because of what i heard about fixing soft closing assembly.
But then again, at least in my case, the cause was the battery drained and reset everything, and i had to reset. I never had any problems with soft closing.
I dont think you will experience major problems with that. If you do, i have read, that you can take fuses in and out, when it happens, to avoid fixing it. lol
