those are S55 rims
when i got the side skirts and bumpers painted, the body shop also did the hood (stone chips) and the trunk (a few dings), and when he took off the 500 SEL badge, I just eliminated the EL and asked him to put the S first, and he used double sided tape to produce what you see in the pic
I just got the car from the body shop yesterday, and put the rims on Sat morning

Gorgeous. I think with these pictures i can convince my father to do the same thing. It looks very sharp. If you tinted the windows i think it would look even better but thats IMO. The rims are 19's are they not?

I like the results. I have the same exact rims except on Short-wheelbase champagne 300SE and it looks very sporty. Why did you relocate liscence plate to drivers side, why not just eliminate completely? I think what would really help is flat hood emblem and getting red/white tail lights. It does require a whole new rear lighting assembly (including new grey bar peice), but it would look sick.
i would recommend 20% tint, I did 35 % on the sides and its still alittle light, 20% is perfect in my opinion. hope that helps. NICE PICS!

its a $110 fine if popo sees you with no front plate in Ontario, so I cant eliminate it... I have seen your car, you have the same rims, looks nice
I dont like tint at all, so I will pass on that, but I like the flat emblem and rear light idea... looking for a set of tails, if I find a clean set, they will be bought and installed rightaway
