Brake Problem

I just changed the front and rear brake pads on my S420 year 98. I put new pads in and everything seemed to go fine. After putting everything back together, i tested it around the block and the first push on the brake pedal seemed to be fine. However, after the first one, the pedal seems to sink way down and i have to push it all the way down to stop the car. So i tried to bleed and the car. I did it 3 times and i still have the same problem. Does anybody have any clue what is wrong with my car. I hope it is not the brake master cylinder because my MB dealer quoted me $1300 for it when i called them today.
