I couldn't find anything under this item so was wondering if anyone has the instruction for programing the keyless remote for a 1995 S420? thanks in advance.

you try getting new batteries?

 

it's a brand new remote, right from the dealer.

 

One thought: Even as a brand new remote, the battery could be defective, or just run down. If you have not yet fixed this problem, try installing a new battery or take back to dealer. let us know what happens. thanks.

Look into the red window and push the button you should see a red flash if it works

 

There were two versions in 94
1) push button on remote while aiming at sensor and then turn ignition on with key (1/94)
2) press remote button twice and turn key to position 2 (12/94)
or go back to dealer.
The previous suggestion of key in door is up to (12/93)

 

hold button on remote, insert key in driver side lock, lock/unlock twice while holding down remote button, release button on remote. Then wait a few minutes, before the programing works.

I tried several times and nothing happened, then I come back an hour later and sure enough the remote works.....

dealer was lost and each service guy was giving a different way to do it. one said ignition, one said aim at rear view mirror, the part department said do the lock thing.

the range of the remote is about 12" (about 30 cm) from either front locks or rear trunk lock. not veryu good.
