your right it does finish off the interior. at work we recently had two S-Classes in, a S55 with the wood wheel and no wood shifter, and a S500 with both. The S55 drove me nuts everytime i looked at it.

As far as the color of the interior, it is the lightest I have had. I only have about a months use so far so time will tell. But I am pretty easy on a car. The only wear I am concerned about is the drivers seat where exit and entry can create some problems with the leather surface. Will just have to keep an eye on things and do some touch up cleaning if heavy use causes a problem.

Congrats Ramp...you will love the final result. It really dresses up the console and drivers area. Pictures at 11:00 when it is done...
BTW...the price to me for the KG shifter was $304 + only $52 for install.

I don't know what the install will cost, but the wheel and knob will be just over $1k, after a 10% discount. I told them you got a discount... Will post some pics next week.
