I almost never ever want to honk my horn at anyone because the horn sounds so gay it should sound more along the lines of a ford or something not that i like the american cars or anything just the sound of the horn ..which brings me to my question does anyone know how to swap out the horn with a new new one?

lol, yeah, its sounds muffled or something. The horn on my minivan sounds better, crisp and clear.

I bought this super loud 139db airhorn online for like $50 and boy, this thing is loud. Your current horn is probably 80db. Big rig is between 150-170db. To install this depends on how well you know your way around relays. You can find any mounting point under your car and mount this then just tap the hot wire from your present horn into the relay and a constant hot from your battery. Ground the thing and scare whoever wants to play. Just dont abuse it coz remember you drive a Benz.

That thing looks like it could blow the wheels off a car! I don't know if all S's come w/ the same horn, but mine sounds like the one on all of my parents old Cadillac’s. They are very plain and anemic sounding to me. I really don't like it.

Damn that thing looks mean i wouldnt mind gettin something like that where can i buy it online? also it doesnt sound like a buss or big rig right that would just not be right for the car...anyway you can make a sound clip for us as well as some instructions on how to intsall like yours??? Thanks....Calvin

Let's see ? The horn would be the last thing on a long list of upgrades that I would consider on the s class. A horn is rarely used and it seems to do the job fine. just my.02

The horn on the ML sounds gay too. Sometimes it sounds like the horns on the old Fords. Other times it sounds normal.
