Dealer..

YOu have to take it to the dealership. It costs them $40 to take that off the computer. I think it happens when you leave your car sitting in one spot too long. I had that happen with my S500 when I was out of town for 2 weeks.

If you drive..

Dude.. nothing will happen if you drive it around. It's just like a check engine light. The dealer has to use the computer to take that out. It only costs like $40.

I checked the manual up and down.. sometimes the light just goes away but it's if you leave the car sitting too long.. Also usually occurs with cars with Parktronic.

Take it to the dealer..

Reminds me of an SRS Airbag warning I got once.. it was during the weekend, so I just took the car to the dealer on Monday, and they fixed it for free, and I even got a loaner car (a newer model) until the next day...

it happened to me one time and run star diagnosis but cant find any fault code. what i did is i removed the battery and waited for about 5 minutes. after that, everything goes back to normal. cant really explain how will that message trigger. maybe it has something to do with entry assist on the settings at the ICM. after removing the battery be sure to synchronize the seats, windows, sliding/tilting roof, steering wheel.

goodluck.

anyway, i'm new in this forum. a good site to learn more about benz
