Too much of a coincidence...he just traded about 2 weeks ago and he had purchased the '06 430 in 10/06 so his mileage is about right..plus Glauser is his trade in/purchase dealer. More yes's than no's.

And traded in for a new Mercedes too, as the ad describes. But it's the "originally bought at Glauser" that's throwing me off.

That's my "old" car guys. I took deliver on 9/30/05, the date of the warranty. Also, there are few S430's equipped the way mine was and the List Price is the same as mine was. I would imagine the car will sell for about $2-3K below their asking price. I see the listing calls it a 2005, but it is a 2006 model. The car was purchased from Fletcher Jones in LV...a assumption by whoever wrote the copy....

even jack's old ride looks sweet! very well maintained - you hardly drove that thing jack! then again, you did not have it long either.

hopefully they did not bend you over that much on it. only $63.9. i would think an 06 s430 would fetch more?

The W220 market is pretty soft. I expected to take a hit when I committed to the S550...any car only 6 months old is going to get hit hard if traded in that quickly. I offered it at what I thought was a very fair price on this and another site and got no takers.

Glauser was the only dealer who offered me what I consider a fair deal on the car and a discount on the S550 that helped soften the blow. I lost some money but the S550 makes those thoughts all go away...the car is perfect.
