Its not suppose to be special compared to S600 it will however complitly destroy jI88's s430 with buick performance and all the christmas toys on it. Imagine him pointing to the Lorinzer crap on his car and 20" s and then being blown away by the fugly 745.
760 is what you should look for but its nowhere to be found untill jan2003 and by that time S600 with new engine will have to be able to do to 760 what you did to 745. I say 760 is a looser even before it shows up.

745 may be a vary sad looking creature with fugly fugly rear end and eyebrows but "nothing" it is not. It will be it in a few years when BMW will try to resell all the returned lease 745 at prices far below their optimistic residuals now.

BMW's board has approved an M7 - first time ever for a 7 series with 550+ hp non-Turbo V12 . Supposed to be to the AMG S55 , what the next M5 V10 will be to the next E55. Have heard that BMW will bring an M5 SMG Wagon to the US also - now that'll be a cool grocery getter. MBZ won't even bring the V8 E500 wagon to the US - worried it would eat into ML 500 sales.

Why would BMW come up with a new v12, or tweak the existing V12 in the 760Li for the M7. I thought, if they did make the M7, it would use the upcoming V10 that will be employed in the future 5 and 6 series, which is also rumored to produce upwards of 500 hp.

745 has 4.4l and S430 has 4.3-much closer than S500 with 5l engine just based on that as everything else is the same for S500 and 430

Ah ok..
Atchually I thought we were to compare cars with their engine sizes eg. 4.4 BMW v/s 4.3 MB engine etc.

It just happens to be that 745 blows away S430 and probably equal or faster than s500 that is MB's problem that 4.3l engine developes only 275 hp, what a shame. Infinity's 4.5 or 4.4 l engine developes 340hp should Q45 be directly compared to the S500 or even S600 because of the HP? Give it a brake.
