Fastest S-Class? Who?

hey guys,
I plan to get a S600/55/63 One of them,
Im wondering which tuner has the fastest engine mod for the S class?
Brabus? Kleeman? Lorinser?

And how much will it cost?

Any input wud be appreciated since i have to budget myself on 2 cars!

I don't know any tuner that has modded a 600 benz lately. If you get an S600 it should already be capable of competing with the Tuners for 0-60 times. I know KLEEMANN, brabus and probably lorinser, all make a kit for the 55, but it's only for another 50hp. Kleeman should be the cheapest at 17K+ USD. Personally I would go with the S600 for V12 power.

Any Idea how much will it cost?

Hmmm.....If i were you, id go ahead and get the new S55 (500h.p and 700 nm torque) and that is straight from the factory so you can drive the hell out of it and still have your factory warranty. If your still yearning for more power........and u want to keep the warranty.....be one of the VERY few mercedes owners that has a cute little blue bottle in the back that says NOS :p Yes, I know people cringe at just seeing the letters, but if properly installed and adequate fuel is tapped from your line nothing really would happen, AND you would only have to use it in case of extreme emergencies (i.e. a BMW gets ahead of you for some odd, unexplained reason in a race). So....if something goes wrong.....just pull it out and go back to your friendly mercedes dealer with a look of pure confusion as to why the hell your brand new mercedes with only 15K on it has bent rods?????. (Yeah, yeah, i know its bad) Just a suggestion........

Hahahahahaha.......I knew it would only be a matter of time before someone flips out when seeing NOS in a post. Its understandable, but realize before I turned my car into a show car, I was racing it for money and I made over 50 passes easily using NOS without any problems because fuel was properly delivered and I never squeezed the bottle for more than absolutely necessary. People that mess their cars up from NOS are using stock fuel configurations and abusing the "magic button" by keeping it on too long. I know NOS isnt good for your car, but if properly done, its not as HORRIBLE as people think. So....youd be at about 650h.p. with minor mods and a 100 shot bottle of happy gas. And if you never use it, atleast it looks pretty intimidating to people to have the smoke purge out from your windshield washer nozzles on a CL55....i know id personally sh#% my pants if I saw a benz on the road do that.

=================
HDS500

S55: $100,165.00
18 inch Light racing wheels: $3,500 (depends on what you buy)
Custom intercooler: $300 (depends on what you buy)
RbTech Carbon Fiber intake: $1,249
Air filter: $100
Cat back exhaust: $2,000 (depends on what you buy)
KLEEMANN supercharger: $16,995
Total: around $124,309

why would someone want a faster 0-60 time than the 4.8 sec that is claimed for the new S600TT? It is almost sure that the car may be capable of hitting even 4.5 if the conditions are right. And I hear that the new 600 is geared for 190 mph if it is deirstricted? What more do your want in a superluxury sedan?

The SL55 is not that lighter than the S600, but with 476 hp, it has consistently bested its factory times consistenly, up to 4.4sec. There is no reason to doubt why the S600 with 500 hp cannot do better than 4.8. Keep in mind that the MB factory times are always conservative.

As listed in my sign
HdS500

Read this and after that decide what to buy

http://www.mkb-tuning.com/content_e/...ertunek55.html

It's only 4.2 s
I tried there products with three of my car, my old E55 and my current S500 and C32, they do what they said.

I recommend them.

Holy crap! You guys will pay any price for power.... Here's what I'd do to be smart with your dollar: bore and stroke the engine, port and polish the heads, larger cams, better torque convertor (if there is such a thing), then dyno tuning for your air/fuel ECU. Nitrous, n-i-t-r-o-u-s, NOT "NOS", NOS is a company, not a technology . How many of you are just butt hurt over nitrous oxide because of that lame *** movie Fast and the Furious?? A daily driver shot of nitrous oxide would be around 70-100 shot, maybe in a dual stage fogger set up---AND it would yield MORE power than that Kleeman supercharger for about 3% of the cost, 3%. Now for the tricky part, since Benz engine bays are cramped: find someone to fabricate you a custom exhaust manifold and intercooler piping for a sequential twin turbo kit from Toyomoto. You could probably fit the turbines underneath your oil pan or next to the headers. Do all of the above and you'll be pushing upwards of 800rwhps on about 1-bar of boost for less than that whole CF K&N intake, exhaust, Kleeman setup.

Don't fool around with those price-inflated blowers. If you want a top notch supercharger, have someone fabricate a custom throttle body that lines up with a Vortech blower. You'll be spending no more than $6000 for that set up and it will outperform any of the benz blowers for over $10,000 less. Then again, what is the fascination with a quick 4500lbs car? Makes for kind of a poor project car. I'd just buy an S430 for commute, and a C32 AMG as my tuner weekend car.

The best engine tuner is Renntech by far they do more engine performance stuff than any other tuner by far. They are the only ones that put a V12 into a ML.......

streetburner, the first one who put V12 engine is Brabus, but renntech are the only one who can offer Manual Transmission for the Mercedes.

Well I didnt say that they were the frist to put a V12 into one I just stated that they do drop V12s into MLs. Also, I have known for a long time that Renntech does 6 speed manual transmissions conversions to Mercedes because I'm looking into one for my ML55 and also a New Twin Turbo V12 conversion when it comes on the market.
