S Lowered by washers! -pics!
Just finished it - oohmph, I am so tired right now.. (despite it's a simple stuff)
Will post how to do later. It is super easy to do..
I think I might have lowered the car a bit too much, since the car lowers itself 10~15mm when the car goes over around 65mph.
How's your thoughts? :-) will post more pics taken on the day.

The washers..
The washers I used were about 5.5 mm in total. The stud on the bracket is on its limit(for the nut to be screwed) with this much washer. I decide to use more than that. :-)

newton, do you have any idea about the topic I created for the suspension issue? I really want to have some ideas about that symptoms.. My car was fine till it hit 45k mi, and it was fine - just solid and troubleless since it was new except for some squeaks.

Thes cars come from the factory set so high, that you can get 2.5 to 3 inches or more before you are anywhere NEAR the critical height window.
SO.. IF you drop your from 1.5 inches that still leaves the .75 to 1.0 drop after it passes 80mph. and you are still well within the healthy range for height.
passengers don't have any bearing on a car with height control. this only affects how much air pressure has to be preloaded into the shock to maintain required height.
So.. if the car was lowered, and you put your girlfriends fat twin sisters in the back, all that actually happens is that you end up with about.. the same amount of air that was in the shock before it was lowered.. Not much more.. maybe even less.. But not anything dramatic.
Carrying those girls plus a full load of bricks in the trunk is a different story. But if you did that, you need your a@# kicked anywayz right......
If you want to spend $500 to $1200 dollars on an electronic kt that does basically the same thing, go for it its' your $$. Even the link kits that are being sold accomplish the exact same task as washers. So it's a matter of what you want.

wow, nice drop. Your S class can look pretty good at 4 washers or the limit of the stock stud. I opted for more adjustment and modified the sensor rod. glad you all are saving some major bucks to lower the W220.. ![word](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/werd.gif)
Maybe I should do a picture tutorial. I feel the need to lower the car more because I'm running 35/30 series tires now instead of 40 series. need to narrow that gap.
