She replied that she wanted all the options -- couldn't live without leather, had to have a sunroof, the CD player, the spoiler, the list went on and on. So in the end, to each their own. Some want their loaded Camrys, others (myself included) would prefer a better overall car with very few, if any, options.

funny how the topic is sclass vs ls430 and we're talking bout the younger brothers..ex300/camry and the e class and c-class.. LOL
if i had a choice i would go in this order
camry>es300>c-class>e-class>ls430>s-class
but if all the benz's were amg's cept the s.. the s being s600 then i would take the benz's all over the lexus's.. unless the ls430 is topped out with every option.. then it beats everything except the s600.. lol

AMG makes the S63 which is an AMG version of the S600, however, since it is an AMG-Special, it is not available in North America.

Better handling according to who? The LS430 has an unbearable amount of understeer.

If anyone, it's the clowns that continue to jeer at Lexus even after tests have proven some of their head-on Mercedes competitors to fall short in performance and handling tests. Oh well, to some here, a plastic logo will always mean better performance, and not the actual car it's glue onto
