2000 S430 Right Headlight
My headlight went out this morning. Figures it was the foggiest day of the year. The worked when I left the house. I stopped for gas and turned the lights off after turning the car off. When I turned it back on the message came up. I looked and it was not on. Does this sound like a typical bulb replacement? Can anyone tell me how to replace the bulb? Otherwise I will have to take it to the dealer which I really do not want to do. Thanks.

It you have xenon you will need to change both sides and not just the blown side. If you don't one side will look brighter than the other. Pop your hood and you will see a housing for these lights. You should be able to access the bulbs from there.

S430
My POS '02 S430 has blown 6 right headlights in the last 2 years. It'll be traded this weekend.

Anybody ever use a PIAA H7 Extreme White Plus in a non-Xenon? The Silver Star guy said I would use the H7 Silver Star for my S430. They sell the PIAA's also. Anyone know which one is better?

Well, I went with the PIAA H7 Extreme White. They look great!!! I heard some reviews that the SilverStars were not as good. They really gave me the HID look! You can't really tell that much in the day time but when it gets dark, definitely.

can I go to AutoZone and buy these bulbs or do I have to order them? How much were they? I've seen on Ebay ranging from $59 to $89

Becareful using these bulbs, most of the bulbs have a high wattage rating, which also means they will give off more heat, which can melt your housings. In my opinion u are better of getting HIDs.
