Here's one with 22" rims... https://mbworld.org/forums/showpost....&postcount=414

A little over the top for me. I don't think I would ever got bigger than 20". I'm very content with rolling around on 18" AMGs.

I'm 5' 10" 190 lbs. I dont think I will be getting any bigger in the short term.
Does that answer your question?

No, oh maybe you can come up with a better subject line.

Like "What are the biggest rims and tires that I can run on my S500 Class?

I would call MB dealer and ask them. It may screww with your speed omiter or trip meters......

Haha, I'm sure MB can adjust the odo to be compatible with the tire sizes.

I personally would never go over 19s.

My point is that it's not just a simple swap. You may have to talk to MB to see what gadgits are effected by a different rim/tire size. Haha?

I'm running 20's on the car, but 22's would be out of the question! Since you will have major rubbing issues on a staggered setup. The car in the link has a Non Staggered would just looks weak and nasty from the backside especially on a wide body as the S-Class!

natejeezy, a lowered 20's setup are as big as you want to go on the W220 is 20x10 275/30/20 rear and 20x9 245/35/20 or a 20x9.5 and 20x8.5 setup. if you want to roll 22's get the new S class w221 or a 745 Bimmer.

Here is a pic with the 20x10 setup I had last year.

22?

Long as my rims are old enough to vote - 18 - I am content. Anything more on a Benz will get too much attention and ruin the ride.

I don't know but I hope we have another one at the same spot in Irvine, that is the perfect place.

IMHO, 22 chromed out cheapens the look of such a classy car. Personally, I wouldn't exceed 19. However, those 20s on your car dtx and benznonubz look incredible.

Whatever there's gas in...
My 20's fit just fine....I don't know if I'd do 22's on a W220....
