shifter knob
Has anyone replaced there leather shifter knob? I am looking to replace my shifter knob with the leather/burl wood with the mercedes logo on top I see lots of them around but where is the best place to get it since I'd like the wood to match and the java color to match the originall I've asked my dealer but they whant over $300.oo for it! i've seen them for half that.

I have seen them several places on the net, but consistantly see them on eBay for pretty good prices. Been thinking about doing this also. Give eBay a try.

Nope they are all leather. But i ordered the wood part ( the lower part ) throu PerformanceProducts.com for $80 a while ago. Then took mine out, spent like 2 hours with it to get it done. ( was happy to see my product, lol )

What exactly did you have to do to install the "wood part" from performance products to your keyless go shift knob. I have been looking to get it, but wasnt sure how easy the install was?Hows the quality?

Here's the one I got from formymercedes.com and it is very good quality and matches perfectly. Pardon the very dirty car. Cold and snowy here!
