Replacing Air Ride Struts on 02 S430

Replacing Air Ride Struts on 02 S430
My Airmatic struts are bad and was wondering if anyone has taken on the task of replacing them by themself? I'm mechanically inclined but this might be more than I can chew if too complicated. Any help would be appreciated.

every s class goes through this dont waste your time doing it urself take it to a dealer and have them do it. if u have the extended warranty they will cover it. its complicated to do.. try searching the forum i remember seeing a thread similar to the question your asking there might be directions there. good luck though!!

Are you sure you need to replace them? Or just repair the tops of them? What are your symptoms? If you rode on them to long deflated, you probably tore the bellows inside the strut and you will need to replace it then.
