Anyone added W220 Europe Options?
Thought I'd start a discussion regarding some options not sold in the US. If there are other threads already on these please post a link as I did a search and didn't find much.
408 Foding rear working table £595.75

308 Refrigerator in rear armrest £519.15
Also, I understand there is a different Command that has rear seat video also w/ DVD and NTSC tuner.
Anyone in Europe have the owners manual / brochure / service manual for the w220?

There was a "folding" table behind the drivers and front passenger seats. The site I took the option codes from listed it as a "Foding rear working table". I think it might be a typo since I'd never heard of it and it is not in the dictionary, but I left it how it was written.

Performance Auto Parts (a forum sponsor, click list of sponsors at the top of the page) sells nice wood fold-down desks for the rear of the front seats.

I believe Park Place used to have the fold downs - http://mb.parkplacestores.com/ - not currently listed, but you might contact.
I have no stock number for the refrigerator, but contributor Corkscrew has one in his S-Class. He may be able to get a number for you. PM him.

I just got the latest electronic Performance Auto Parts catalog - it doesn't show the fold down table I have seen before, but it does contain this:
"MP Designs of Germany produces nearly all of our Interior Wood Upgrades for Mercedes-Benz. These are not appliques but are replacement parts that feature the richest wood veneers. From front air vents to rear ashtray covers, Performance Products offers a large selection for nearly every model. See also Shiftknobs and Wood & leather Steering Wheels for a complete interior upgrade."
MP designs may be your best source.
It is possible to retrofit a Euro spec COMAND; the best source I know of for specific questions is Steve@MBENZNL.com. His site is http://www.mbenznl.com. Installer extroadinaire, Steve travels several times a year from the Netherlands to the U.S. to do mods. He has several associates around the country as well. Steve's sister (BigSis) may also answer questons, and will do so reliably.
