My passenger seat headrest rattles. Makes me nuts, actually when driving over uneven pavement (lots of it here in Dallas), and my passenger door makes a rattle when you close it. Something inside it maybe? Before I tear into things, has anyone experienced these same issues and fixed them? I'm a bit reluctant to pull the door panel since the car is so nice. Same for that passenger seat.............

Look at these diagrams closely. Your ratles could be coming from these clips and pins 100, 110, 160, 200, 210, 265, one of those clips could be loose and vibrates on rough terrain.
Dealer fixed my headrest rattle when it was still in warranty.

Raise the headrest all the way up. Lower the seat all the way down. Pull the headrest out of the seat. Put one headrest bar in a vice (with rubber protective covers to not scratch the bar). Bend the bar just a little. The two bars should be just wide enough that you have to push in a little so they return into the seat back with tension. No more rattle.

I have too many rattles to care. Both of my headrests rattle, both of my doors rattle when closing, my glove box rattles, my air vents rattle, and there are also other rattles coming from god knows where.

I prefer to fix the rattles. Makes for better ride. Why drive a piece of crap unnecessariy? It's not hard to fix the headrest rattle. See above. It takes five minutes.

No, but its hard to fix the other rattles. The headrest rattle bothers me the least of all rattles probably in my car.Originally Posted by Curlytoons
