Our S-classes might be big and have quite a reasonable trunk. On the other hand the trunk opening is not fit to handle large square objects.
I had to take a wooden crate with me from work.
Warehouse guy came over and had quite a smile on his face when I finally had to squeeze it in on the back-seats (without damage )
I told him next time I want to be told in advance so I can take my VW station to do the job.

But seriously, it is a reason why I sometimes consider to buy a large e-class station instead of my S and get rid of the VW in one deal.

But will I get the same smooth ride in it??

That stove looks new. That guy also has a "new" Benz. You would think he could just pay to have it shipped to his home. Ide bet, if you followed him to the gas station, hed put in 87 octane whith that stove hanging out of the trunk and everything

In his defense guys.. that was my Stove!!! Just kidding! but it looks exactly like mine.

I guess sometimes you have to do what you have to do. Maybe he was going out of town the next day and this was the only way he could get his stove home, I don't know.. But at least its tied up nice.. I may have done the same thing given a certain set of circumstances..

When I had my 190E I loaded 130 fence pickets in it to take back to McCoys after I figured out the time it would take me to rent a truck, bring it back, deliver, refill the truck and come back home It was hardly worth returning the pickets. My 190 did a lovely job at recovering my $170.00 and I was quite impressed at how the suspension held up.

Say what you will but these cars make good work cars ( sometime ). Notice how perfectly the stove fits like a glove into the trunk opening. Just like it was made for it....I love these cars.....LOL.

Think You've Seen Everything???

Must be a leased Benz... near the end of the term.

You would never do that to your own.
