I love the w220 amg style. Check ebay, you can get real Mercedes AMG bumpers for less than that. I just saw a front and a rear for less than $500.

The listing says it includes side skirts as well. I don't understand how you can use the existing bumpers and put these on over them to make it look like a AMG sport package

You've got to paint it, take the old bumper off and replace it .. when they say "half" they mean the bottom half. Same with the skirts I'm pretty sure ..

half meaning cut my bumper attach this kit somehow and paint it. do you feel the finished piece will be presentable and pass off as a Sport package car? i mean the price is attractive, but i feel the body shop will kill me on getting this thing put on and make it look good.

Stay away from fiberglass kits (ridged and crack very easy) There are some aftermarkets kits that use the frp or gfrp material which is bendable and a much better option.. raceoneusa sells the AMG style kit for 8 or 900 on ebay..here is their site and check out the material.

No, no cutting of the bumper.. look closely, there is a line where the bottom half is attached .. it's separate from the upper half .. this is the AMG portion (not saying this is real AMG) .. the only part to replace is the bottom half, no cutting.

Thanks for the link, I think I'll be buying it. After paint and install, you feel this is a better alternative to paying the high prices for OEM pieces?

For 20% cost of the real stuff this material is the the best by far... I have seen a couple others on ebay selling the same kit between 6 and 800.. just make sure it is the stuff that bends and keep your eye on ebay and I am sure they will pop up on a auction againl or call raceone direct and have them cut you a deal since they sell the amg kit on ebay... just tell them you saw on there a while back.... best of luck !

I called them and their kit is made of fiberglass as well. What are the negatives of having this fiberglass over the OEM material?

Yes I know, but thery use the bendable new stuff > frp..... The "old" fiberglass stuff which is stiff as a board and will chip and crack when a little pebble hits and then there is the new stuff that is available which I showed you a pic where you can twist it like rubber.. Make sure you stay away from the cheap old school cheap fiberglass and go with the newer gfrp/frp stuff. please understand the difference and make sure you buy the frp/gfrp.
