Between the 03 Mercedes S500 with Sport Package or 03 BMW 745Li Sport, which is the better car? will be buying one in the next month...want advice from you guys...

Bad comparison. An equal comparison would be S500 to 750li..pretty even at that point. It would then depend on which one meets your needs.

The 03 Bimmers were downright terrible from what I have heard.

Suprisingly, I am going to go with the 500.

the 02 were the bad models. The 745/50 looks better and you can do more with it. The S500 is dated and looks old fashion.

This is easy, stay away from the 745's.... S500 over 745 but the 750 over the S500 all day long.

I like my 02 745i, drove an 03
S500 Sport today-not nearly as quick as the 745, ride quality smooth but wallowy on deep sweepers and tight on-ramps. It was easy to make the pilot sports protest loudly...the M-B appears way behind on technical innovation, but the quality of the interior leather and wood is of much higher caliber than the BMW. The S500 still has that intangible Mercedes feel that my E420 has, solid and expensive. I am probably going to replace the 745 with an 03 745Li; actually the best solution is to get both...any suggestions on how to pitch that to my wife?

I can't say much about the 745 BMW I'm sure its a great car but I'd stick with the S500

Come on a S500 to a 745li. Ask some of your friends or coworkers. Look at the S500. It looks like a long narrow boat. That car is still driven is africa.lol

I can't think of any positives in getting the s500 over the 745
