Sagging sunvisor
My 2000 S500 has the drivers side sunvisor hanging down a few inches when you have it in the up position.
Is there any way to fix this without replacing the sunvisor?
Thanks

Mine stays up, tight, but I would guess there is a way to crimp the bottom of the visor--maybe w/ pliers--so as to make it grip the rod better...

I may remove mine to take a look and see if there is something that can be crimped or fixed.
Does anyone know how to get the mounting cover off so I can get at the screws to remove the visor?

heres a temp fix i figured out while working on my friends 02 w220, ill try my best to explain the procedure.
(put your visor in its original position, so it should be sagging a bit from the ceiling)
-flip visor down
-unclip the visor from the clipholder
-pivot the visor towards you(not all the way)
-pull visor out on its extension
-flip visor up and down a couple of times
-flip visor upwards(it should be hugging the ceiling and stay in that position)
-pivot the visor away from you back to its original position
-push visor back into its extension
-clip visor back onto its clipholder
your visor should not be sagging anymore, sorry for the confusing directions.
also, i think i saw a post about intermittent taillamp malfunctions i cant seem to find at this moment so ill write here.
-pull out the sockets in the taillamps
-sand the rust or calcium off the metal parts of the sockets and taillamp housings where they connect.
