Need a bit more room for my kid, so I trade in my W210 for the W220. My wife and I spent a week and so looking around, after testing every large sedan out there, we figure the W220 is best fit us. The Lexus LS430 (especially the interior) looks age & cheap after few years, suprisingly, and I can't tolerate the i-drive-you-crazy on the BMW 745i.

Less than 12 hours into owning the car, I remove the headlight, open it up, replace the crappy Bosch bi-xenon projector with a better one (used in Audi RS6), light output is so much better now. It freaks my wife out a bit, but all is well now. Thanks to tips from this forum, replacing the headlight is quite easy. Btw, if you loosen the front bumper a bit, it makes the job much easier. I took some pix during the process, will post if anyone need help.

Can is fun to drive, lot of room.

Cool man, congrats Removing the 2 bumper bolts gives you that wiggle room to get the headlamps out for sure.
