Unhappy Steering Vibration

2003 W220 S500. Any one else had this problem . When driving at different speeds & revs i get vibrations through the steering wheel. This happens intermitantly and only when i have been driving for 30mins+. Sometimes it will happen a couple of times a day and sometimes not for a few days. The car has been to the dealers but they cannot find the problem, no fault codes on star, tires have been balanced, track rod ends checked, etc, no faults found in the suspension. Any ideas its driving me crazy. Car is still under extended warranty so would like to get it fixed before it runs out. Any help appreciated.

It could be the motor mounts starting to go. Do you have any roughness at idle? The dealer should check them and the transmission mounts.

That's strange, but if the vibrations happen during driving conditions, it could be the alignment

Your vibration is most likely coming from your wheels. Either a bubble in the tire, or a bend in your rim. Changed tires or wheels lately? It's not likely to be your rotors or your column. I once had a vibration. It turned out to be a loose protector shield under my car. Also, check and make sure your compressor unit is not going out.

Still no joy, they can't find anything wrong. Going to take it to another workshop who said they had this before on a CLS- airmatic struts were the cause. Away for a couple of weeks on vacation, so will update when i return.
