S600 Fuse Chart request
Hello all,
1. I've read the owners manual. It provides no fuse chart. Though it shows where the fuses should be and where the fuse chart should be. I'm suspect that there are fuses in the passenger side dashboard. Further, the fuse chart was not in the tool kit.
2. I've contacted MB cust. service
a. The cust svc. rep told me I would have to put my request in writing and they would determine if I'm an actual owner (though she already looked me up as a valid owner) and if they can send it to me.
b. The Tech rep. told me there wasn't one and the diagrams are on the covers of each fuse box.
3. I've done a search here. Thought I found a 2001 S class thread I'm not sure it's the same as the s600
So, can anyone please provide me a copy of an s600 fuse chart?
Thanks
I also have a WIS on dvd that has been very useful for finding schematics.
Whomever needs it will be welcome to it.

How is WIS and where did you get it.
I had it on my server till last month when it crashed ( thank you once again windows..) and I didn't reload it with the new drive.
I was also thinking about installing it on my Macbook but it runs like a server within a server and I don't want it conflicting with any of my existing PLC software thats actually making me money right now.
However, I do plan on reinstalling it now that I have my new system up and running so that I can access it remotely.
As far as the fuse chart goes, I know a lot of people have been asking about it so I will scan mine and post it as a PDF or jpeg file for people to download but I can't get to it till this weekend. Generally it should cover most W220's as I'm sure the box locations and fuse assignments are all the same.

Anyone else who reads this if you have a fusecard in the boot, laminate it as it does get moisture on it depending on your local climate and falls to pieces.

Your dealer should be able to get you one.

I clicked on the link in your post. It immediately opened to Dean's (Pinkster's) fuse post.
I clicked on the link in your earlier post to open the Fuse Chart Guide pdf, which opened a very clear image of the guide. The guide told me that a North American S430 (model W220.170) up to 6/30/10 should use Fuse Chart A0005451500. I returned to Dean's post and clicked on that link. It opened immediately to a very clear pdf showing each fuse number, what they covered, and a fuse and relay location chart.

I have no idea why you are having problems - but the fuse charts are readily available on line.

My guess is that I have gotten confused as to which diagram i have already checked out and it didn't match up. And now I still have to go through the process over again and keep a better note as to which chart might work out. Most of the ones I found had something that want eligible so maybe somehow I can use the combined charts I find and doc I can pull up .... Ill give it another try thanks for letting me know its do able. Ill have another go then.

One of the two charts above should be the one chart that you need. Check your date of birth for your car, or use the VIN to determine which one you need, then print two of that chart - one for home base, and one in the car. If the fuse amperages don't match, don't overlook the possibility that a prior owner has switched a few fuses sometime in the last seventeen years.

If you want a picture of the fuse chart, I have a 2003 S500 fuse chart that will be home at 4;30 EDT i will text it to you if you private message me with a number or e-mail
