I GOT THE RUST REPAIRED BY MERCEDES BENZ!!!

its 8 years 80k just so you guys dont get cheated out of getting rust repaired for free.

my service advisor told me MB covers rust on these cars W220 for 8 years or 80k which ever comes first, and i got mine done it came out great

yup just tell your dealer u bought it at a benz dealer, you can say you bought it from Lewbar Imports from west springfield MA, there closed down now so they wont be able to contact them, thats what i told my new dealer

now i just noticed you are from canada dont know the rules up there, but my service advisor told me its 8 years or 80K Miles and thats a FACT

MB of ann arbor in MI laughed their asses off when I inquired about this "goodwill" rust repair on my old E420. Guess where I WONT be buying my next from?

umm its an e420 ....thats probably why.....as far as i know its only s class

so I have a 2000 s500 its covered right ???

well i did a search, and it turns out thats a Merc warranty i believe, what you have to do in order to get the claim processed is take it to a dealer u frequent, hopefully their good enuff to take care of it. otherwise your gonna wanna try and reach MBUK them self's.

but so far its a covered thing, found a thread from the MBUK site, a guy had a 7 year old E class with 150k on it, had it repaired fine, said it was 150k miles, not KM so i'm shocked they did it.


check into it, my hood emblem areahas rust around it on the hood its self, very ugly
