Wheel Fitment - I'm Dazed and Confused

Looking at some 18 x 8.5 with a 35mm Offset

will these fit a 2002 S500 with no problems?

Also should 18" be staggered front and rear and if so why?

Also, Anybody know the offset on the stock 16 x 7.5 that

came with the car?

Sorry for all the questions? But I am damned confused.

...and obviously not too bright!

that offset seems kinda low, staggered is best because when you have wider rims in rear it makes the car more stable when taking corners or turns.....BIG DIFFERENCE IN HANDLING...BIG i use 20x10 in rear 20x8.5 in front and my car handles like an AMG lol

I want to run an alabaster white on white rims - Your offset is damn close to a 35mm

Those wheels looks like the ones I purchased last month. You may want to take a look at my vehicle in the CL/215 picture thread. The ones I purchased doesn't have center caps to fly off. Hope this helps.

Those will be fine, no problem. staggered is always better...go with 19x.9.5 and 19x8.5 I have these rim sizes and I have 35et rear and a 32et front and I am slammed. Those 18x8.5's will be no problem all day long.

Ditto with nodubs. An offset like ET35 should look fairly aggressive. I had ET32 19x8.5 and ET35 19x9.5 and I loved the look.

As a FYI, stock 16s have ET46 and the AMG 18s have ET44.

you can easily go as low as 32 offset rear and 34 front i think. i got 19" with above offsets and i love the aggresive look but rear tyres (9.5) do rub against the guards when i go around corners hard but it happens only if i have the suspension on soft thou.
