That is not a 600 its a fully loaded S500 4-matic with fake badges on the back and side. The ad says S500 as well.

MB has never made an S600 4-matic.

I was just about to say that is an oh so obvious fake. There was some talk of a detuned S600 4Matic with 480hp, but that idea never got off the ground at MB.

Part of the ad actually describes it as an S600, but other parts describe it as an S500 and also says it has 8 cylinders. Hmmmmm.

The ad says it's a "one of one" S600 4-matic. If you look closely, it has the full leather dash and doors, additional wood, and alcantara pillars and roof liner that came standard on the S600. But it does not have the 600 exhaust tips, and the brakes look like the ones on my S500.

Perhaps the factory used smaller brakes to accommodate the 17" non-staggered wheels? I can't think of why they wouldn't have used 600 tailpipes, though.

If this is real, it's a pretty cool find, but not at that price.

This Ebay item may get pulled due to fraud or maybe there are tons of typos in the ad. It does indeed appear to be a 600. I wonder why it doesn't have AMG wheels? Also, did the 600s have tailpipes showing or tucked under the bumper? I thought they protruded out past the bumpers.

They do protrude past the bumpers in the 600s, but this one doesn't. The ad also stated it was a designo interior, so that would explain the full leather dash. The other wood parts are easily replaceable. Too bad they didn't post a picture of the engine bay.

Great observation. I saw the designo part too but I forgot about that explaining the stitched dash. We should all ask the seller to post engine pix

It is an S500 and poorly written ad and should be pulled.

I was told by MB engineers that you can't fit the 4-matic with the size of the v12 engine. Not to mention the stress on the drivetrain.

Hello, There are many items in your ad that are not correct.

1. This is NOT an S600 but a re-badged S500

2.This car does not have the Designo Package. The seats and door panels are regular W220

3. The S600 was not available as 4-matic

There is no telling what else is false about this vehicle.. Why no engine pics?

You should have a MB dealer check your VIN for you so you can advertise with the correct information. Your car has become the center of attention at benzworld.org

Busted! Good work detective. I love how people list things in the wrong section and act like its ebay's fault sometimes. I recently saw someone list an A6 under the RS6 section, and 'coincidentally' they had their car debadged with an RS6 emblem on the trunk. But the insisted it was ebay's fault and they listed it under that when they supplied the VIN.
