A friend of mind removed all the Mufflers and kept only Resonators on his 01 S500, it sounded amazing, like a true muscle-car. Alot of drone, but of course if you're removing Mufflers you're okay with drone 
I did the same with my old Mustang GT and it sounded equally badass.
I have a question about removing just the Resonators though, do you lose ANY MPG? If not I will do this mod ASAP if I end up keeping my car. With my friends non-Muffler setup, it screwed his Gas Mileage, as it did with my Mustang.
Any answer would be very appreciated
