Cool Ethanol running in MB engines (specifically S-Class)?

Anyone have any knowledge on if our cars can run Ethanol? S430, S500, S55, S600?

I am considering a new car and the ability for it's engine to run Ethanol is a new factor to consider... it might be fun to make my own gas... I am pursuing the permit from TTB to do so.

of course... I might just say F it and get the new S-Class W221 regardless. lol

A few late-model MB engines can take E85. They're typically lower output engines in C-class cars. All the V8s and V12s require 91 octane.

It is possible to convert the engine or replace certain parts so that it can withstand E85 ? and also the E85 Tune car. if anyone still does it for that car model
