Tire Size

What's up everyone, I'm a little new to this forum thing. I want to know what size tires to get for my 2002 s430. I just received a set of 20 inch rims and I don't know the correct tire size to get. They are 20x8.5 in the front and 20x10 in the rear. I hearing 275/30/20 for the rear, is this correct.

Thanks

I agree with the above comments I have 255/35/20 on 20X9 front wheels and 285/30/20 on 20X10 rear wheels but had to do a bit on modifications to get them not to rub in the rear ....275/30/20 would be your best bet. Good Luck post some pics once you get them installed.

I'm having trouble with the rear tire, slightly hitting the break caliper. Tried spacers but don't have long enoght lug bolts. I need to find some longer lug bolts. The wheels are vertini hennessey's. vertiniwheels.com

You mean the Wheel is hitting not the tire right?

The bad news
On a 10" wheel, you have to have at least a 44 offset or its goinf to hit the caliper depending on the type of wheel and how the center spokes are designed in relation to the hub.

The worse news..
IF you have to put spacers on a 10" wheel to get caliper clearance, you are more than likely going to hit the fender with the tire. AND it's going to vibrate like crap because I don;t know of a true 66.56 spacer that works on the small lip that you have on the rear wheel hub.

I would use the correct wheels.. do they come in different offsets?
