2002 Mercedes S500
Where would I find a black grill W/o the star?
I want a flat black grill for my o2 500. ive seen a few on here but my concearn is flaking w/ rockchips. Any suggestions?

W220 S65 AMG
Paint it with primer designed for plastic, sand it then paint it with up to 3 coats of semi-gloss paint designed for plastic.

I took mine off and gave it to my paint guy and he primered and painted gloss black to match.

you need to sand the chrome down to let the paint "bite" Use multiple thin coats.
