review time...stopping compared to before...sucks!...lol...i guess its the pads...o well its not THATTT bad...its still pretty responsive but stock braking system was indeed better...but to me...its worth it cuz i dont have to wipe down the wheels to get rid of that nasty haze the other pads left on the chrome after a day of driving...i was the car 4 days ago and not even a spot of brake dust on the wheels and dont get me wrong the brakes are still good just not AS good....its still safe to drive

Relax...

If you used the same pads Or even new ines for that matter,, you have to give the pads time to seat into the rotors.. I drove about 80 mles before the transformation then.. WOW....
You will feel your brakes higher and it will take a lot less effort to stop...

THis is a given with any new rotors because of the new rotor thickness....

Metalic pads stop better than most others but at the cost of the rotors because of the bitting power and heat dicipation qualities. Semi-metalic pads (used by MB) have acceptable standards but have a lot of dust and are better than ceramic pads. They dicipate heat better. Ceramic pads are good for dustless qualities and increased life on rotors but if you drive fast, you'll quickly realize these are not for your aplication. Sometimes it's good to wipe off the dust and be able to reduce you stopping distance from 130 mph. I drive fast.
