DIY Tune-up

A few days ago my car hit 100K. I purchased all the necessary parts for my 100k tune-up. Air filters, 16-spark plugs, cabin filter, fuel filter, oil filter. I went with Bosch Platinum-2 plugs and also the K&N filters should give me a little better performance and better gas mileage. Fuel filter and oil filter I picked up at the dealer. They wanted $12 each plug and $100 for the air filters at the dealer. It took me about 4 hours to do the whole job. The wires were in good shape so decided to keep them. After all was completed, you can tell the difference in performance the car is much more responsive, I took it on the highway with the A/C on and hit the pedal and the car responded so much better than before. It always idled smooth but now you cant even feel any vibration from the engine what so ever. Saved about $500 doing it myself

They were a little eroded but not to bad the gap was fine...I was actually surprised how decent they looked for having 50K miles on them. I bought the car 3 years ago with a little less than 50K on them and had them replaced then.

2004 S500 AMG Kit Keyless go Parktronics 7 speed
Im planing to do the same thing this weekend but have a few questions before doing so. First of all should I buy Bosch, NGK or Denso spark plugs? Platinum or Iridium? As far as the wire set I found some Bosch for $250 and some Belden for $194. Not sure which one's to buy any input would be helpful. Thank you in advance!

should have changed the wires. They will always look good but the core of the wire may be weaken.

Good job. I recommend you replace the plug wires as well since they are under extreme temps (Hot and Cold) and cracks are usually not visible to the eye.
