Tire Help !! 2006 S430 Sport PKG

We just got a used S430 with sport package, with brand new tires (Bridgestone Potenza RE050). It's so noisy that we are willing to buy new tires, if it will help with the noise, and if it does which one is the best for quiet ride? 245/45ZR18 and 265/40ZR18 We heard Yokohama ADVAN S.4 and Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 are good. Please help!

go for Michelin Pilot Sport, they don't make PS 2 for this size. It's quiet.

I use the Falken 452 (from discount tire direct), decent price and very quiet (as quiet as the Michelin P.S that I had on before). Good traction too & look nice. I have to go w/ 275 on the rear for the Falken, but it's okey, as it in the spec range for the W220 sport.

2000 S430
I run the Falken 452 as well on 18" AMG wheels. The tires are quiet, straight tracking and sticky. Also are highly rated among users. The only complaint trend is a relatively short lifetime of 15-25K miles. Mine are wearing quickly as well but at the low price , I am confident they are still much cheaper per mile. I would definitely buy another set....

I second this. I got a full set and I have not looked back. I prefer low road noise.

Cheers.
