slow 0-60?
slow 0-60?
0-60 factory timings for S500LWB is 6.2 - 6.3. Why am I constantly running 7.10 or 7.09 at best? Brand new spark plugs, maintained very well. 48,000 miles.
My car is 4matic I don't know if this matters?

your car is slow because its an S500 and not a S55 AMG or S600
not to mention your car is 4matic=sloooow. anyways have fun and you should be glad your car is slow with these gas prices

guess so I don't know why it was tripping didn't hear any tire screeching or anything?
Here's what I did this time:
-close all windows and sunroof
-turn off climate control
-shell gasoline with 1/4th tank
-no spare
-new air filter
I made this video to compare against when I get my new pulley and ECU w/K&N filters (on the way)

Probably not too much wheelspin with 4matic. W220 S500 = land yacht great for daily driving but not made for off the line accelleration. German cars made for highway speed im sure you have good 60-100 accelleration.

Make sure you're comparing an apple to an apple. If your car is a 5-speed version it will be slower than the 7-speed one. If you're looking at a 7-speed time that might explain the discrepency. The 4-matic is going to be a bit slower than the RWD version as has already been said.
Like Supr says, the W220s are wicked fast from 60 or so to 100, but there are a lot of cars that will take them in a stop-light gran prix. That's not what they are built to do, and they do so many other things well that it's a small price to pay (for me). If you get beat off the line, you can reel them in.
