ReDynoed the S600 tonite.

Was over at my friends shop and decided to throw it on his Dyno Dynamics to see what it would do. We use this dyno to tune all our cars so we know its pretty accurate.. Right off the highway it lays down 508whp/602lbs torque.. I suspect the car has ALOT more torque in it because he went WOT at around 3900 RPMS and it shot to 602 right away.. I didnt realize till after we left the shop what he did but next time I go back im gonna try WOT at 3000 rpms and see from there.. A/F was a pretty decent 11.9 across the board.. This tune impresses me more and more everytime I play with the car!!

Finally some nice numbers out of your car Post up the dyno graph. The TQ peak is should be right around 3K depending on the tune. Dyno numbers are great, but your trap speed at the track will tell a lot more. Take it back to the track and redeem yourself Congrats again

Doesn't dynamics always reads lower than a dynojet?

I only say it because I dynoed one time at a dynodynamics and then dynoed at a dyno jet and to my surprise the dynojet read higher. Your numbers might be higher in terms of power, but you say it is set to read the same so it might.

What software did you get?, your car should definitely run mid 11's.

its suuuper tough to get into the mid 11's just on street tires. My best time is an 11.67 on street tires, its no fun trying to modulate the throttle with that much TQ. A few tips if I may....raise your suspension all the way on high and put it at its softest setting. Raise your front tire pressure to its 2lbs under its maximum rating, and lower your rear tires to about 28lbs, any lower and the tread will cup. Good luck Dennis, Im looking forward to some nice MPH.

Thanks for the advice bro. You race your car at Cecil? If so next time I go ill let you know maybe we can meet up. Im also going to be using VHT compound on the street tires to help keep em sticky. DR's are on the plan but right now I have to concentrate all my time, money and energy to get this bad boy running:

Its been a few years since I have been there, I raced my W210 E55 up there so its been a bit. Because of tech issues I try to stick to my private track rentals to run the CL. But please let me know when you run. Dont forget our big track event on Nov 15th at MIR, lots of new Benz records will be set that day, we have MBWorld members coming in from as far as Cali for this event.

Thanks, the car is getting a Turbocharged Dart 393 stroker in it and an Autronic SM2 standalone system. Ill be running a "small" 76mm turbo. Looking to make 1000rwhp on race gas for now.. Maybe ill bring the Mustang out to MIR and make shakedown passes that day
