S500 vs RSX type S
Which car would win a race, and Rsx type S or an S500. My friend says his car is faster 0-60 and quarter mile, but what i have read does not agree. Anyone have any experience with these cars? I know its kind of hard to compare two completely different overall cars, but im talking only about performance.
Thanks

Yeah Summer mode.
Well, who knows it is very easy to get additional horsepower from a japanese car with decent mods for a decent price. You won't even know if the guy mod the engine or not even if you pop up the hood. Anyway, if i were you and see this kind of car on the road and ask me to race, I will still race him. And yeah, I agree, who cares, in the end you still end up driving a nice german machine.
Who cares! German > Japanese cars

Sell your S500... for now... then get yourself a TVR Tuscan S. Or a Z06, then send it to MTI and ask for the Z07 kit. Should give you a very nice 600HP @ flywheel. And in case you were loosing, also don't forget that NOS kit for another 150HP. Shouldn't cost anything more than what you sold your S500
Have a nice day.

Well, I ended up racing my friends RSX in the S500. What I didnt know until just before the race was that he had an injen air intake on his car, which adds anywhere from 12-20 HP(pretty substantial for a 200 HP base). Anyway, we raced twice once from a dead stop. I turned ESP off, set the stiffest suspension and beat him off the line up to about 60 mph. He was about a half car length behind me the whole time. We than did a rolling start at about 20mph. We got up to about 70 mph and he was at least 5 car lengths behind me. While he admits hes not the greatest shifter, the S500 still had superior acceleration(in my opinion).
