AMG P030 8-Piston Calipers + 2-Piece Rotors for S600
I always felt that the stock brake setup on the Mercedes-Benz S600 was inadequate for the weight of the car, so it is being upgraded to the AMG P030 Package which includes 8-Piston Calipers and 380mm 2-Piece Floating Composite Rotors.

+1 That's what I thought too. The technical manuals for these cars have a section for the 4-Piston brakes and 8-Piston brakes... maybe the 8-Piston ones were available on all the 600 cars in Europe or elsewhere?

Alright here we go... got them both weighed on the scale:
OEM S600:
4-Piston Caliper: 11.82lbs
Stock Rotor: 25.06lbs
OEM Front: 73.76lbs
P030 S65:
8-Piston Caliper: 13.50lbs
380mm Rotor: 30.45lbs
P030 Front: 87.90lbs
The P030 setup is only 14lbs heavier!
