How's your Gas Mileage? With my friends S500 and my GT, we both lost a ton of MPG's and low end torque when we did this mod. I'm assuming (hoping) the low-end got traded for some upper RPM breathing. In my Mustang it wasn't such an issue, but I know he would always complain it took alot more Gas to get the big S Class moving.

lol, trying to make a boat into a sports car is stupid. If that was the stock exhaust on the s65, then that is stupid too.
The S55 is stupid, the S65 is stupid. The s500 and the S600 are perfectly in keeping with what a luxury sedan is supposed to be.
Price has nothing to do with it. If I wanted a 55 or even a 65, I would have bought one. But since they are so ridiculously pointless, I have no interest in them.

Of course, by your reckoning .. to anyone who would not spend the $$ to get a benz, you're stupid .. who needs more than 4 wheels and safe? To those who would get something nicer, you're stupid .. why would you settle for just what you have when there is so much more out there?
O, and since I have a 'standard' S500 and disagree with you .. that makes you stupid.
What's so funny is, your view of Mercedes is not Mercedes view .. they seem to think the S55, 65, 63, et all .. are great ideas .. and since they make them, and you buy their cars .. yep, you guessed it .. you're stupid.
Why would someone who thinks the maker of the brand of car they drives is stupid post so much on a board of people who are enthusiasts of cars he thinks are stupid?

oh yeah and i also painted my sidemarkers black...there was a thread that poped up a few months ago..like a how-to type of deal...so i did that...looks goood too...but yea i should be getting back in town tonight and ill see if i can get the sound clips and some pics up...and surprisingly...i think my gas milage has gone up? not drastically...but enough so that i can tell there is a difference...haha maybe im just

No it Cant<br /><br />At the test track, the new Accord hit 60 mph in 7.1 seconds and ran the quarter-mile in 15.5 seconds at 91.8 mph<br /><br /><br />in 99's 302 hp/339 TQ is alot and Im confident my S500 will rape the accord on 60-100<br /><br />What Im saying is 300/340 TQ HP is good for me and I kno my car is fast, but its a slug compared to other super cars.

Hey guys, this Oliver guy is a turd... and mad for not having the freedom to play around with something you paid for... he acts like he leased it and you altered the car before it was paid off. The whole Honda and S500 deal well if the Honda weight near 5000 pounds and got around like my car does then maybe I'd be driving a Honda . One thing for certain and two things for sure, I'd only want to crash in a benz not a honda...I have 187k on my 03 not on issue and I drive it like I stole it every time I drive. Never sweat the opinion of a true HATER.
