The final ECU software was based on multiple dyno tests, boost pressure readings and extensive data logging. At this time, it looks like P.E.S. does not have the capability to flash the TCU.
What does your TCU flash include? Can I pick how hard it shifts on a scale of 1 to 10?
Very interested...

Yes sir. I have a custom dyno-tuned ECU program from P.E.S. ( http://www.chip2perform.com/ )

Our tune file will remove load limitations, and make the car shift very similar to the 65 AMG. There is a practical limit on how fast a transmission file is able to make the car shift without doing other modifications such as increasing line pressure, and modifying the valve body, and there is no "1-10" option unfortunately. If you like the way your car shifts now, I would recommend not doing the TCU, however if you'd like it to feel more like a 65 AMG, this will do the trick. There is zero HP/TQ benefit from TCU files. If you don't like the results, I'll flash back to stock, and refund your money.

Cory, there has been much debate about, ecu tuning software on all mb forums for bi-turbo v12's obviously Kleemann is well known for supercharged cars... No dyno charts out for bi-turbo v12's with your software i can find... Very interested but anyone can make claims about power increase but with out dyno proof what does it mean? can you provide any dyno charts for the ecu software? I have always been a big Kleemann and renntech fan... yes, I said both in the same sentence, sorry, other have been recommended too who members have used but 2 have yet to get back with me on info. Please let me know!
Thanks!

One is a dyno done at our USA headquaters 6200 ft. above sea level, and the other is a dyno dynamics sheet, but it only shows torque- I'm not sure why I don't have the HP curve to go along with it. I'll do my best to try and find some dynojet data from some of our past clients.....

What's the difference between the Renntech and Kleemann TCU tune? I have a Renntech ECU & TCU tune, and I have some problems with what I believe is torque limitations. Sometimes on a first to second shift, under very hard acceleration, I will lose the tranny when it hits second gear. Would the Kleeman tune fix this?

How exactly does the S65 shift differently than the S600? I HATE the sluggishness and "slipping-like" feel of my S600. Dealer says that is "HOW" S600's are to feel. Also, do any of these upgrades affect and/or void the factory warranty and/or extended MB warranty I have or is that up to each dealer to decide?
The upgrades we provide are invisible to any diagnostic equipment the dealer has- your dealer can't void your warranty for something they can't "see". As long as you don't flat-out tell your dealer you did an ECU upgrade, there should be no problems with warranty claims.

I'm not sure what the exact differences are, as I've never seen a RT EGS tune. It sounds like you are indeed suffering from some sort of torque, or load limitation between shifts. Why not contact RT and have them correct the problem, since you've already paid for the tunes?

AMG cars have what is called "AMG Speedshift", which basically means they shift faster and "harder" than a non-AMG car. AMG cars will also down-shift more aggressively, hold gears longer though corners, etc. The KLEEMANN programming for TCU will make the car feel very similar to an AMG car.

What is the process to take advantage of this offer? Is the is an "exchange" the OEM ECU and/or TCU or simply send a new ECU/TCU and I keep my original units?
Also, I was looking at getting a W220 4matic for winter driving. I found a good deal on an S430, but hate that it only has 275 hp, can you tune the ECU and TCU to make it perform significantly better and for a good price?
Thanks,
Chris

2005 S600 (Silver w/ AMG package)
Hi,
I want to do the package offered above for the advertised rate. It says nothing about an expiration date. How do I begin?
Also, how can You tell by looking at a car when such tunes have been performed? Are there any tail-tell signs?
Thanks, CHunter32 Chris_Hunter32@hotmail.com

Can't imagine that in this economy they wouldn't extend that offer, or even offer a better priced offer, as I bet there is not, and was not, a huge run on these items for W220's in recent months.
