WB button on the shift console??

Can anyone tell me what that WB button does on the shiftconsole? I pressed it and noticed NO changes on the dash or in driving.

WB or WS? you should notice if you select W, you start off a little more sluggish as you retard 1st gear. If you use B? or S? you utilize the 1st gear at startoff.

W starts from second gear and changes gears quickly
S starts in first gear and it's more 'sport' oriented shifting

I have S and C on mine manual says Cold and Summer mode. Same function though.

W is also useful in stop and go traffic, just so the car doesn't keep going from 1st to 2nd and back down to 1st.

I think if you are in stop/ start traffic, the sensors in the gearbox pick that up and pulls away in second.
