S62 AMG with over 600 hp comes out next year
I forgot which car magazine I just got got today in the mail (I think it was Automobile magazine in a S600 vs 760Li article) but the editor mentioned the release of an S62 AMG next year with "over 600 Hp." I can't wait until we hear more about. Anyone read the article?

I think I found teh article, its next to the pic of the 7 series, where it mentions the S62 AMG with over 600HP!!!
I think the price will be over done to account for the performance

'22 Alpina B7,'21 G63 Renntech obviously (wife), Wrangler(kids)
Renntech just dyno tested S600,it has about 21% loss to rear wheels and in stock form they got 430hp at r. wheels(translates to540hp,not 493 official)
After ECU mod they got 464hp(587hp as we know it)
and torque went from 640lbs(again much higher then official #)
to over 700lbs.
Citing Gustav from BMWM5.com:these #'s are insane!
I'm really curious now about real #'s for 55's.

More than likely if the S62 becomes a reality it will only be a AMG Special available in Europe just like the 2002 S63 and CL63.

Current 600 is already overwhelmed with torque/traction issue.
More power will only exacerbate this problem.
