Driver's Side Jack Cover Lost..
I had my car up on the jack a few days ago because I had to change my brakepads, but I guess I didn't secure it in place when I put it back because I came back from testing my brakes and it was gone! I retraced my drive and couldn't find it so, can anyone help me find this part? Any color, I don't care I'll just have it repainted. Thanks!

Your best bet is most likely a Benz stealership. They can't really charge that much for such a little piece of plastic. OK, I take that back maybe they can. Don't think anyone else will carry that part.

I was afraid you'd say that, but thanks! I was hoping someone would have access to an S-Class that was totalled or something and could just pop it off..Wishful thinking.
Here's a picture, just to clarify to everyone else..

Lol, guess again about it being cheap.
It appears to be about $99 list price. Parts.com has it for $67. If you're in desperate need of a part number, I'll fire up EPCnet.

EPC is showing me A220 698 27 30 for the left front cover.
Using this part number, I come up with $42 from parts.com. Their VIN number confirmation would give you the right part though.
However, another number is also listed. Seems like a 140 part number, but its WAY cheaper on parts.com (under a buck), so it may be worth some investigating.
That is:
A140 698 03 30

You might also try Potomac German Auto, one of the largest MB breaker/salvage operations in the country - http://mbpartsonline.com/ - and if the part isn't listed in the online catalog, give them a call.

Another local option for you would be:
Silver Star Recycling
(916) 631-7300 11335 Dismantle Court
Rancho Cordova, CA 95742
USA
Give them a call and they might have what you need. It's up near SAC and they have a lot of inventory. I usually stop by on my way up to Tahoe for a wknd.
Good luck!

Nor is shouting in all caps - a convention I am sure you recognize, since you didn't do it earlier - likely to get you much help.
You are the one who decided to post in an old thread that already had the information that would answer your question. It gave you a part number, and several alternate sources, and you skipped it. Then, you "yell" at the guy who had given the forum the part number.
You should feel pretty foolish about now.

Your infantile "challenge" gives lie to your statement. Your attitude and your determination not to use the resources already pointed out to you convince me you're a waste of time. Bye
